Rob has worked as a professional musician from the age of 18. Amongst his career highlights, Rob has toured with Keith Urban, the Blues Brothers Revival Band, has been a session player for many leading Australian bands, and also won QRA 1999 Album of the Year.
Rob discovered mantras in the search for a melding of music and spirituality. He began holding mantra and chanting evenings in Brisbane, and following this, released the mantra/original song album 'Simple Little Miracles' in 2008.
Rob has played and jammed with internationally renowned mantra musicians Deva Premal and Miten, and Dave Stringer. According to Deva and Miten: "Rob Stevenson is a spiritual and dedicated musician whose craft can lift and inspire you.”
Angela studied a BA in theatre and media, and has played piano/saxophone for and musically directed many productions.
For years she has utilised her clowning, improvisation and musical abilities in a therapeutic capacity for hospitalised children and their families.
Angela had been practising meditation for over 10 years when she discovered mantras and began regularly attending Rob's satsang evenings.
She joined him as a vocalist and they formed SpiritSong in 2011. Angela also plays tanmandel, harmonium, native american flute and ukulele for SpiritSong.
